The Inspiration Behind our Name:
The HUB 360
The idea for The HUB 360 was born in a simple, heartfelt moment — sitting by a pool with family and friends, sharing how wonderful it would be if we could build a place that serves adults living with special needs and disabilities on a whole new level. We envisioned an activity program that would enrich their daily lives while also giving families peace of mind — knowing their loved ones are cared for, respected, and valued. We talked about creating a place that would not only support individuals but also empower families to return to the workforce, and strengthen our community as a whole.
As we were brainstorming names that day, one word kept rising to the surface: HUB. We played with different phrases — “hub of joy,” “the hub place” — but the word HUB itself continued to stand out. Why? Because HUB is the center, the core, the heart of something. It represents connection, unity, purpose, and strength. That is exactly what we want to be — a central place of joy, fulfillment, and happiness.
We also wanted a name that felt warm, and fun to say. We imagined participants proudly telling others, “I’m going to The HUB today!” We didn’t want something that sounded clinical. We wanted a name that felt welcoming, and friendly. The HUB felt like a place people would be proud to be part of.
We added 360 because our mission is all-encompassing. It represents a full circle of support — serving individuals, supporting families, and strengthening the community. It reflects our commitment to providing well-rounded, meaningful experiences that enrich lives in every direction.
The HUB 360 is more than a name. It is a promise — to be the heart of hope, opportunity, and respect for a community that has too often been underserved and deserves more resources.
